The Breakdance Club, formerly known as the Circus Breakdance Collaboration, started when a small group of students were dancing in the halls after school. A curious Sophie Littee, French and Spanish teacher, noticed them. Littee asked the students what they were doing. They quietly replied they were practicing their routine. When Littee found out they had no sponsor, she offered to help the kids out and get the club registered. Since than the club has grown, and breakdancing has slowly been incorporated into the club. “I’ve always been a fan of juggling and I even own a unicycle so it seemed like a fun thing to do,” Littee said. The Breakdance Club meets every Tuesday afternoon at 2:15. Anyone is welcome to join and sign up.
