If you have ever seen a girl carrying three bags running with a mocha in her hand thirty seconds before the bell is about to ring, you most likely saw Alex Sedor. Sedor is about to graduate in the top of her graduating class and plans on attending Pacific Luthern University on a full-ride scholarship. Sedor has taken school extremely seriously since day one. Then she soon was put in the Ignite program to excel with other highly intelligent students from about the community. Now Sedor has to juggle sports, school and a social life. She played volleyball all four years at school and started her senior year as the defense specialist. She help lead her team to their third straight state championship. She also joined the team on a trip to California to compete in one of the the largest high school volleyball competitions in the nation. She has also overloaded on AP and Honors courses during her high school career. Her freshman and sophomore years, she took Honors English and History. Her junior year she decided to take four AP classes and then her senior year she took two more. To add to Alex Sedor’s amazing resume, she is an extremely talent singer who was a part of the choir for two years. She sang in numerous concerts and had solos in the production Dimond Night Live for two years. On the weekends Alex is often found in Girdwood skiing at Alyeska with her friends. She has been skiing since she could stand and is now extremely good. She can ski Christmas Shoot with one eye closed. Matt Wilson, a senior, says, “Alex is the best lady skier I have met on the mountain. She is even able to ski with me. I’m the best skier on the mountain!” Sedor’s friends mean the world to her. She has had the same best friends since kindergarten, including Taylor Reich and Matt Wilson. She, of course, has more friends, but she is very happy that she has been able to stay so close with her first friends. One day Alex is going to be the surgeon fixing your broken leg. If you meet her you will be glad you did because she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
