Amanda Boger is one of these people, this senior has accomplished so much over the course of her high school years and is now preparing to take on the challenges of life. “My biggest accomplishments at Dimond was winning first place in many competitions this year: National Association of teachers of singing, Classical competition; sing for scholarship, Mary and Cassetta scholarship and many others that will help me fulfill my dreams in college,” says Boger. In the past years, she has participated in many different Extra-Curricular Activities such as Z-Club and Choir. This year she has been the Representative for DDF and the President of the Drama Club. “My most fondest memories of this place come from the plays, particularly from ‘Hello Dolly’ when I played a boy. I was Barnaby” says Boger. Amanda has been very accomplished in the theater throughout high school having participated in every Dimond production and D.N.L. since her Freshman year. Drama teacher, Ms. Keller says, “she has a lot of talent and I admire her amazing singing voice.” Senior Nick Collins, one who has worked on Amanda’s side on the stage and in DDF for the past few years, says, “She is a stunning and brilliant, multi-talented individual who never ceases to amaze. I have never seen a more determined young woman.” Sophomore Gage Raymond says, “Amanda is the most talented actress I know. She has an incredible voice and will go so far in her life. I am privileged to know her and I will miss her when she’s gone. Her friends also speak very highly of her, this is what Amanda’s good friend, Courtney Schuman had to say, “Oh great Amanda, Master of the Universe, Ruler of all Woman, Conqueror of all Men and Hero to the Multitudes.” Sophomore Mari Travelerio, another friend of Amanda’s, said, “Amanda is awesome. We all live in Amanda’s world. We are Amanda’s minions, she knows it, and we enjoy it.”. Now that her high school days are coming close to an end, she has already chosen to go to college in Florida State as it is where her family has been going for years and after that it’s performing for her. “In 10 years I will be a rich and famous singer and actress. BAM,” says Boger.
