If you’re tired of just doing nothing but sleeping on your well-deserved weekend, maybe I can help you find some places to go relax yourself or with a friend!

First, the Dimond Center mall. Probably the most popular option, because there is a lot to do there and you can have a lot of fun. It doesn’t have to be the Dimond Center, it can be any other mall, but I would say Dimond Center is the most local and it’s so fun. If you plan on getting any new clothes for school, or maybe a prom dress, the Dimond Center has Old Navy, H&M, and other clothing stores available for you! Don’t panic if you didn’t eat breakfast, because the mall has many places to get delicious food at the food court, like Fruitland or Famous Wok. Even if you just want a snack, you can head to the newly-added Starbucks, Auntie Anne’s, or Hallmark cookies! And also the mall has a movie theater on the top floor, so I suggest you go watch a movie up there sometime!

Next, there’s Target. It’s a far drive (depending on where you live), but it’s still such a fun place to go. Just like Dimond Center, you can shop for clothes and food there, and also provide a Starbucks! There are lots of things you can do and buy at Target, there’s even a school section if your backpack is ripping apart or if you need a new lunchbox. You can just spend hours there doing whatever, I would also recommend bringing a friend, because in case you don’t bring enough money for that $120 GAP hoodie that’s spent a couple of weeks in your search history, maybe you can borrow some of their money? Go ahead and buy that jumbo bag of candy you’ve always wanted when you went to Target in the past.

Last, there’s Barnes & Noble. This one is somewhat similar to Target, a little bit. I think Barnes & Noble is the calmest option, so if you’re looking for peace and quiet more so a friend night-out, this is the perfect one. Barnes & Noble doesn’t JUST have amazing books in every genre, it also has plushies, toys, and music! And it’s a perfect place if you’re babysitting or have to take your baby sibling with you. Because, there is a kids’ reading center, where you can take them. There’s a cafe where you can get a delicious treat and drink, sit down and be on your phone, talk, or whatever you want! I’m sure you can also do your homework there, so that’s why I recommend Barnes & Noble, it’s such a calming place where you can just relax and melt from your long week.

Honestly, there are a lot more cool places to go over your weekend, but those are some of my best choices, so I recommend going to any of these places if you want to. Sometimes going out and enjoying yourself can be great for your mental health, all that stress is going to bed.
