Dimond Sports Update

The Lady Lynx’s Flag football team defeated the West High Eagles 21-0. It was very windy and cold but the Flag team still managed to pull off a victorious win. Keeping their undefeated record beating other high schools at home and away. The Lady Lynx put a major upset on the West High Girls Flag football Homecoming night. With the game coming to an end with the last touchdown of the game with 2:39 seconds left pulling away with the win. Leslyn Giron is a player on the team that loves the team and thinks of them as a family.

The Swim and Dive team is putting in an amazing job throughout their meets. The men’s Swim and Dive team is second in the region. With the women’s Swim team first in the region. With Andrew Billings seventh and Will McKinley tenth in the Region IV helping the men’s swim team stay top three. In November, Region IV will be hosting the State Tournament for the Swim and Dive teams in Alaska. As for the women’s swim and dive team, Isabella Borke put in an amazing performance and became first in the region. With Caroline Waters third and Hannah Boyce fourth behind Caroline Waters. Can’t wait to see them swim at State!
