On September 24, the Dimond Tackle Football team took on the East Thunderbirds on Homecoming night. With the Tackle football team coming on another loss from service they are seeking a win against East Thunderbirds. With the Boy’s C-team and junior varsity winning their games against the East ThunderBirds, the varsity tackle football team seeking to add on and win with their homecoming game. With the clock counting down to halftime, the varsity football team struggled to stop the Thunderbirds and struggled to score before halftime with a score of 0-21. The amazing Dimond cheer team came out with an amazing halftime dance. With the second half starting, the Dimond Boys came out hot and stopped with an amazing interception by Kaleb Fautanu, making the fans go wild with the quarterback Tyler Reese setting Tikeri Asailevai for a touchdown. With the final minutes counting down, Dimond’s football team came down on another loss with the score 26-29. Now the Football Dimond Team will take on the South Wolverines on October 1st.
