Along with his family, Mr. Roth ventured outside to his new cabin at Alexander Creek, close to Mount Susitna. Despite the water being extremely chilly, his children paddleboarded and went swimming. In fact, the creek resembled a lake. He also engaged in commercial and sport fishing, though it wasn’t as successful as he had hoped because this year’s fishing prices were so low. He completed a course this summer and is now qualified to instruct AP biology in his new class. Mr. Roth also visited California and attended a performance by the band Dead and Company. He also took his children to see the Mario movie at Bear Tooth. Overall, Mr. Roth had a fun and relaxing summer.
