The Special Olympics Partners Club has recently started again. The Club is definitely Olympic-sized, with a whopping 50 club members, said Brett Ducher, a coach and teacher who works with Dimond intensive needs students. The team athletes compete in a variety of sports including track and field, bowling, skiing, snowboarding, tennis, gymnastics and floor hockey. Junior Alaina Hawley said,”All memberrs agree that joining this club is a whole lot of fun!” According to Ducher, “This club is unique because you are able to build relationships and friendships with the intensive needs students that otherwise wouldn’t be existent.”
