The first thing you do is check yourself for injuries. If it’s bad enough that you can’t move, have someone else call 911 for you. After checking on your passengers to make sure they are okay, move your car over to a safe spot. If you cannot do so then wait for the police. If you’re a teen, make sure to call your parents and have them meet you at the accident. Then get photos of all the damage that has occurred to the vehicle. Sometimes the insurance will just total your car if it’s bad enough. If a fender bender happens don’t call the cops just deal with it civilly unless the person is not cooperating.
