Over the summer Jasmine Locke did lots of yard work and helped her family with a few other jobs here and there. She traveled to Kenai with her family, and there she mostly played games with her cousins and rewatched the Hannibal series with them. Jasmine’s absolute favorite thing she did this summer was being able to take care of one of Mrs. Walker’s axolots, a black one named Toothless. Two of Jasmine’s favorite classes she’s taken at Dimond are marine biology and oceanography with Mrs. Walker. Her favorite class so far this year is her art class with LT.
Jasmine’s current interests include anything Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF) related, though she also enjoys playing other video games like Dead by Daylight and Sky: Children of the Light with her friends and family. She’s hoping to be a marine biologist, so she also has a fascination for the ocean and all types of marine life.
Jasmine is looking forward to contributing different topics students will be interested in the newspaper. She wants to add things that other students will enjoy learning and reading about. She’s hoping that she can spark even just one person’s interest with her writing.
